This Curated Collection documents my journey through the Wednesday Wellbeing Club. Initiated by @shanibeer on August 11, 2021, this wellbeing journey took its members through 15 weeks of discovery of our wellness.
I adopted the Club's Rule of Fives as my guideline to help me get started and set my weekly schedule. By the end of the fifteen weeks, I was hoping that those rules would become habits.
In following the guidelines, I tailored the program to fit my particular wellness situation. I took into account my health and physical capabilities. I then created my own rules and numbers I wanted to adhere to each week I felt would benefit me in the future.
Here is my Rule of FOURS adaptation I set for each week:
- Lose 2 lbs.;
- Enjoy 4 x 30-minute sessions of physical activity (either indoors or outdoors);
- Eat 4 x (1/2 cup combined) - portions of fruit and vegetables each day;
- Get 4 nights x 8 hours sleep.
- Carve out 4 x 30-minute sessions offline either with family or self-indulgence quiet time.
With the guideline now set, I was ready to begin my journey in the Wednesday Wellbeing Club. Below are my weekly reports I shared with my readers.
