HIve there, hola a todos!!!

Today I want to share with you a recipe from the internet that I tested in my kitchen. It is an attempt to imitate this fish.

Visually I must say that, in my opinion it looks quite similar to what would be a kind of salmon sashimi or carpaccio, but to be honest in terms of taste it is quite far away.
I do not mean that it is not worth trying it and taking it into account, otherwise I would have preferred not to share the recipe. The truth is that it tastes very, very good, although I would prefer to change the name to something more like sashimi or carpaccio but since this is a personal opinion I preferred to title the post respecting the original name for those who took the time to experiment in their kitchen and considered that to their palate it resembled salmon, and I also leave it open to your opinion if you dare to try it.

After researching what the word "sashimi" refers to "savoring an ingredient by itself" I found it completely absurd to call it that way.
Finally I decided to rename this recipe from here as "LONJAS SABOR A MAR".

It is an extremely simple preparation with a fresh flavor that can perfectly replace salmon in any preparation. Taking advantage of the fact that I had my BAGELS I decided to apply them to these delicious sandwiches and I promise you that if you reproduce them you will not regret it!

Hoy quiero compartirles una receta de internet que puse a prueba en mi cocina. Se trata de un intento por imitar a este pescado.

Visualmente debo decir que, a mi parecer se asemeja bastante a lo que sería una suerte de sashimi o carpaccio de salmón, pero para ser sincera en cuanto a sabor está bastante alejado.

No quiero decir que no valga la pena probarlo y tenerlo en cuenta, de otra manera hubiese preferido no compartir la receta. Lo cierto es que sabe muy pero muy bien, aunque preferiría cambiarle el nombre a algo más como sashimi o carpaccio pero al ser esta una opinión personal preferí titular el post respetando el nombre original por quien se tomó el tiempo de experimentar en su cocina y consideró que a su paladar se parecía al salmón, y dejo también abierta a su opinión si se animan a probarla.

Luego de investigar lo que la palabra “sashimi” se refiere a “saborear un ingrediente por sí mismo” me pareció completamente absurdo llamarlo de esa manera.
Finalmente decidí retitular desde aquí esta receta como “LONJAS SABOR A MAR”.

Es una preparación sumamente sencilla de sabor fresco que perfectamente puede reemplazar al salmón en alguna preparación. WHAT WILL YOU NEED// QUE VAS A NECESITAR?

ENGESP
1 carrot.
1/2 teaspoon onion powder.
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder.
1 pinch of liquid smoke.
1/2 sheet of nori seaweed.
Soy sauce, quantity needed.
Salt, pepper.
1 zanahoria.
1/2 cdita de cebolla en polvo.
1/2 cdita de ajo en polvo.
1 pizca de humo liquido.
1/2 hoja de alga nori.
Salsa de soja, cantidad necesaria.
Sal, pimienta.

With the help of a potato peeler make thin slices of the carrot.

Boil them for 3 to 5 minutes and drain them. Be careful not to overcook them, we don't want the carrot to disintegrate.

Ponlas a hervir por 3 a 5 minutos y escurrelas. Ten cuidado que no se pasen de cocción, no queremos que la zanahoria se desintegre. Coloca todos los ingredientes dentro de un recipiente hermético, deja macerar por unas horas.
