不變應萬變(불변응만변)은 “불변은 만변에 응한다”는 뜻이다. 불변은 만변을 두려워하지 않으며 만변에 기꺼이 응할 수 있다는 것이다. 이 말은 변화에 대처하는 군자의 자세를 표현하는 말로 널리 쓰이는데, 백범 김구 선생이 1945년 해방을 맞아 귀국하기 전날 저녁 이 문구를 써서 남긴 족자가 다음과 같이 전하며, 베트남의 민족영웅 호찌민의 좌우명으로도 유명하다.
