We learn new things every day. Some people learn a lot and others, perhaps, not so much. This community exists to celebrate all the learning that we do, from "small" ("I learned today how to use CTRL-C" and "CTRL-V" keyboard shortcuts to cut and paste!") to "eventful" ("I learned the chemical makeup of caffeine and why it keeps people awake").
No learning is irrelevant
- 1. Share what you've learned that helps you, or just what you enjoy.
- 2. Try to put some words around it. You learned today how to cut and paste in a Word document? Great! How did you learn it? How will it help you? Or perhaps you've just learned that a famous person in history shares your birthday. Neat! Tell us more about it.
- 3. No abuse. No abusive posts. No insults. Example: "I learned today that <insert favourite politician> is an asshole." No. Don't do it. Keep it personal and positive.
- 4. No plagiarism.
- 5. Please don't simply repeat what's on Wikipedia. Use it as a source, definitely, but then expand on it. Tell us your own learning story!
- 6. Keep positive! Have fun.
