It's always fascinating to see those ancient petroglyphs and wonder what the natives were thinking about when they carved them into the rocks

She has always been an outdoors kind of dog (probably lived her early days outside as she was a stray rescue). Fortunately plenty of local forests for us to explore

I'm glad she felt better quickly as she's such an outdoor loving girl.

She's a wonderful girl. She was a stray we found in Texas 6 years ago.

It's in the Prescott National Forest. We have a very good local trails organization that works on the widespread trail system and the community works hard to maintain them.

This area usually gets a lot more snow as it's about 800 feet higher but not much left. It's rugged country but great for hiking.

It brings me joy to help even if it's one at a time.

a few dollars worth but it's always nice to be out in the forest and Lulu loves it as well.

Fortunately the cooler weather probably keeps them underground but I keep an eye out for them esp. when we're out in the warmer desert spots.

It's really a nice spot in the autumn and winter when it's not so crowded. Lots of trails through the forest and Lulu just loves being an outdoors dog.

Her momma always thinks she needs a warm coat but Lulu must be thinking "I was born with a fur coat!!" Unfortunately our mile high altitude has the snow falling right now with 3-5" forecast
