So after again the discussion begins about Power down, let's get it Real.
If enough people like:
1 Week Power down.
it would make hive superior to hold. St**m was the Testnet in this case but we can do it smarter and better :)
Gov votes charge every week 1/13. So no one can take over.
It means only true Holders will have the power for Witness voting and proposal voting. Would make a takeover from exchanges and so on impossible. But would also allow a faster power down time.
Treasury for people that want 13 weeks, it would be the same as we have now. It's a 13 weeks power up. You also can have 50% 13 weeks power up and 50% 1 week power up. For me sounds super cool.
Treasury works like the power-up today. 13 weeks, no changes. Funds are Safu there, but with the option to combine it with one week.
Personally, I would have the larger part at 13 weeks, I know I never want to power down and the other part on 1 week.
50% 1 week and 50% 13 weeks would be also not bad. People can choose what they want.
With this, Investors would be available to hold more power in hive without the fear, they need someday the money fast. It's not only because of a Bullrun, it's also in life can anything happen. So we should offer it.
Besides this, it would decrease the amount of liquid hive, because Hive power generates returns and liquid hive does nothing.
In the end, higher prices for hive could happen. Special if I think about HBD converting.
And for the end. You never power down? Why don't get a gov bonus? like 5% a year for the start? Would Rewards all long term Never power down people :)
Not needed but cool for holders. It's something we can think about. Rewards all long Term holders.
