I'm starting a new music series. Instead of songs in my head upon waking, I just want to share some of my favorite songs.
Each entry will have at least a slightly different header image. The background will change every 4 songs. This is so I have a chance to practice my Photoshop skills. I'm trying to learn more about graphic design to help me with web and FileMaker development.
These are songs that are more in the psychedelic, spacey, stoner, or just plain weird variety.
Get blazed, put on your favorite headphones, and come along for the ride.
TODAY'S ENTRY:
Maserati - Show Me The Season
There are no vocals in this song to distract you. There's some amazing drumming by the late Jerry Fuchs keeping a very solid beat throughout the entire 9+ minutes. The dual guitars and bass weave in and out around each other, repetitive to an extent, but just when you think you know where it's going, it changes.
Show Me The Season definitely awards the patient. There's a calm before the storm, and then it just explodes.
