RE: I'd Like to Take This Moment to Apologize For My Face

Hey! I was just yelling at my shoes and decided to look in here for help, and here's this! (shoes are in the other room now)

This last few years has allowed a lot of people to reveal their true nature. I guess the media 'deputized' these ordinary people, and they felt they had the authority to yell at anyone who went off the official script. It is sad to see the "I told you so" attitude, I guess some people just want to be right, and confirming their beliefs becomes more important than compassion. When I yelled at my shoes, it was just harmless lunacy, but these people yelling at strangers through the whole dark time were often saying "we know it's bullshit, but it's OUR bullshit, and we're sticking with it." The shrill emotion was just louder than any logic or reason, and being 'safe' overruled any humanity or sanity.

I better go apologize to those shoes, but meanwhile I'm happy believing that your dad's leg is ok after all.

Good to see you.
