Since a few days ago, EXODE allows players to acquire Station Aramea!
Shares are sold starting at 21 usd for a mass purchase, or 24 usd if you take single shares.
But these discounted shares are going down fast!
Only 285 of them are left, as 215 were already sold out.
What advantages do they give?
You know about their passive income from our first article, but there are other rewards:
let's get into further details!
285 Shares left on discount!
(!) Share can be purchased right now (!) and will become tradable.
There will be a new Aramea trading page for selling your shares.
The service will open 90 days after Aramea Station is sold.It will even allow bids for more liquidity options!
If you already have shares: we are working on an update to allow to increase your shares to activate a specific volume discount, and only pay the difference instead of the entire offer.
So, if you have 100 shares for instance and want to activate the 10% discount for 250 shares, then you can add and pay 150 shares only and have it active. The
The programming for it will be done within the next 48 hours, and should actually be ready tomorrow evening (follow out discord to be updated about its release!).
New mints every week!
Saturday will become Station day.
Every Saturday the game will first check your ownership and see if you own enough shares for card drops.
Players with 10% ownership will receive an Aramea 'Voting Board' right. It gives them some rewards when station projects are completed and when decisions are voted ; but only if they decide to participate to the vote! You have some examples below in the 'Station Projects' section.
Players with 25% ownership, called Gold Shareholders, will be known as Station Commanders. There will be very few of them as many individuals will own less shares, giving a top privilege to a 25% owner or group.
Station Commanders will be able to initiate Projects on the Station itself and to vote on them (with all their considerable weight) and on station decisions, reaping the most rewards from these events.
But they will also receive automatic mints every week; we detail below some of them, such as Aramea Security Contract and Emergency Tunnels!
Aramea Security Contract:
Card setup on Aramea station will be adjusted to allow a new slot called a 'Security' slot, a bit like the existing Escorts slot.
Aramea Security Contract is a card which can be put there (and only on Aramea Station). If you do, when docking to Aramea station you will be allowed to pick where your bonus guards should be deployed!
The card act as two station guards already deployed to a station room (such as cargo hold or station halls) who cannot receive orders but will automatically fight looters and attract their fire. This secures this room a lot and allows your crew to reduce risk to themselves.
They won't evacuate with you:
you should remember them as heroes.
Cards are minted every week to you as Station Commander and can be traded and used as they see fit: at least one Aramea Security Contract card is minted every week (at least 4 every month) but there could be more as we will opt for additional random drops and some guaranteed drops too.
We advise a recommended price of at least 9.90 usd for this card (and possibly a lot more, such as 19.90 usd): this places it at the same efficiency as escorts to help and support evacuation! Another lesser version, allowing only one guard, will be a legendary card in the beta booster collection, so this means such an advantage is rare and valuable.
Gravity Tunnels Equipment:
Emergency tunnels are set up inside the station. They use magnetism and gravity field generators to quickly pull something to another place. They are already used for quick materials transport. But other tunnels are set up for station maintenance crew!
The Gravity Tunnels Equipment card allows the character equipped to have an access card and what is required to travel through Aramea emergency tunnels: door opening tools, cables, hooks, separate gravity field which works on station, and so on.
This allows this character to move at double speed between station rooms.
Such equipment cards can be added to some other task speed increase equipments which come in beta and beta contracts, such as cards to increase cargo loading speed. If you move rooms and load cargo faster, you will reach critical results in evacuation!
They will be minted more than the previous card ; we estimate about 10 cards every month to be the average equipments to be minted per Station Commander.
More cards will be accessible from this rank!
But we work on contract opening this summer,
so we won't give you more examples until this opening is done.
We keep our card design kung fu for the emergency on contract and booster opening :)
Note that trading these cards allows for an additional trade income:
in addition to passive revenue from pilots using Aramea, to card renting, to voting rewards and so on!
Important note: if the 25% ownership is held by a shareholder group and not an individual, then for every card distributed the game will draw a random member of the group as recipient: every member having more weight for the roll according to his number of shares.
These cards can be transferred, so the group can set up another sharing rule if they want to do so!
Station Projects
In addition to minting cards, Station Commanders can initiate projects.
We haven't decided about all requirements for projects but wanted to give you a few examples of what they give. Here are some examples below.
Upgrade Station Shields
Alien weapons can penetrate any shield or armor rendering many of these equipments almost useless in the war against them.
But according to first reports there is a specific shield polarization and wavelength which seems to align with their weapons and work a lot better against them. Current shields are not able to sustain such a mode for more than a few seconds, however...
Thanks to this upgrade, as soon as starfleet seems to have lost the battle, Aramea will active its boosted shield. It will give some seconds of damage immunity to the station (and thus, to your ship too!) and another warning to the player: once the shields are active, you will know it's time to warp!
You cannot evacuate when these shields are up but should move to the cockpit and launch as soon as they wear off, for maximal safety.
Of course, if you want to risk your life once they wear off, it's up to you!
Voters will receive also a number of cards called 2325 Shield Pattern which is a software equipment to equip on ships. If the ship has a shield system, it gives it a configuration to improve its efficiency (and survival time) against alien weapons.
Upgrade Station Stealth
Analyzing the alien first wave and why the station has been spared so far gives new ideas to engineers: maybe they can determine ways to avoid detection, for just a little longer?
This project will make Aramea even more interesting: aliens arrival time will be delayed a little, making the "peace time" on station last a little longer.
Peace time is the calm before the storm; it is the time before the emergency alarm is heard.
During this time there are less looters... and also no chance for your ship to be hit!
Pilots will enjoy a longer aliens arrival time but voters will receive a number of new consumable cards as reward, called Camouflage Ideas, which they can sell to all players!
It is an airdroppable card (can be sent to an active colony but is destroyed in the process) which immediately boosts stealth on the colony and lasts for a number of days (estimated to be 30). It can be used to make sure aliens forget about you, and to use and airdrop in case they were "starting to notice your colony" (something the game will hint at).
It should not be used too late though such as when an alien raid is on its way (something the game will also hint at). So once your colony is at risk, you can drop one of these preciously minted cards! Or sell it to players, of course, as this card is not bound.
Station Events
We won't give you examples of station events yet:
we want them to be a surprise to you all!
EXODE is a science fiction game currently played on HIVE.
