EXODE recently added more gameplay demo with mission execution in Factions, then more third parties with an API documentation... and now comes with even more!
In one of the biggest updates to have come to the EXODE universe, you are able to discover card renting, player made packs, new revenue earned from players and even a new web3 ownership!
All these elements are coming up tied to a new feature published right now on our website: the deployment of a new space station.

A collection of new features packed in a Space Station!
We have bundled all these new features in a new content.
It is not a pack, it is not a card; and it is available to be taken for ownership, right now!

A new Space Station
In this update you will be introduced to Space Station Aramea - a station you may already know!
In exactly 120 days, the current version of Aramea will be removed from gameplay and replaced by a new Premium version.
For players the new premium version will be free to use and propose many advantages: some of these advantages will be available right away and others will be added by actions of a group of players.
- Station Aramea, in its premium version, will propose new crates that you can evacuate with. These crates will favor food and agricultural tools.
Food is of critical importance for real colonization: you basically can never have enough of it! and any extra supply can allow more workers to do something else than just gathering food.
When using this station, one Aramea crate will also automatically be loaded on your ship (if space in your cargo hold allows it), right when beginning evacuation.
The Station can propose new starfleet, new rooms, new security, all unlocked and added over time as advantages to it. But also bonus cards granted as rewards to some lucky pilots, at specific events.
The Station will also propose special player-made packs to purchase, and a new 'Card Renting area' where some favored players will be able to propose their own cards.
Renting Cards
The station will be limited to up to 120 cards to rent.
Players having one card slot can propose any card model they own in it, but with only 120 slots there won't be a strong competition between sellers or any wrong effect on starbase market.
EXODE currently has 460+ card models: considering we have so many more different card models, any chance to compete on the same card offer is dramatically reduced!
This means value for rent its kept stable and directly corresponding to its value:
the perfect WEB3 situation: where every seller has his own personal feature to propose, and sellers are not forced to compete with each other.
What begins as card slots will evolve into "card model slots", meaning that if you own many copies of a card you propose for rent, then several players will be able to rent it from one of the 120 slots.

New ownership
Aramea is now proposed for ownership.
All EXODE captains (with an EXODE account) are eligible for ownership.
To be able to be a seller for card rent, you need to become one of Aramea owners.
Ownership of the station is represented by 1000 shares, displayed as seats (or rather, riny great rectangles) on the website.
You can view them after clicking on "View Current Shares" on the panel below.
Shares and Groups
Shares start at 24 USD only, so it's fairly accessible!
Five hundred shares are proposed at -20% discount, at 24 USD, and the rest are at 30 USD.
This means taking your seats early will save you money for the same benefits!Added: if you are an individual and make a large purchase of 250+ shares, you will get an additional 10% discount.
There are advantages if you are:
(1) the top shareholder,
(2) or if you own 25% of shares,
(3) or 10%,
(4) or 1%,
or (5) any number.
Important note:
We are developing a new feature called Shareholder Groups.It allows players to create and join their own groups of owners. The feature will be deployed within the next four weeks, so you can purchase your individual shares now, and then before Aramea Station is deployed in 120 days, create or join any shareholder group.
Grouping is free, will be done with a blockchain action, and you can change group at any time!
Grouping add all member shares for the purpose of calculating advantages of 10%, 25% and 50% ownerships ; so it makes these features accessible to cooperative players and guilds!
Ownership Benefits
We will give you a summary of all advantages below:

- At any number of share, you will earn a passive income in tokens from every player who evacuates from this station and creates a colony.
For all colonies settled by pilots evacuating from Aramea, owners will receive a distribution of 50% of the EXODE tax on EXOFUEL they decide to use. In addition, owners also receive a fee for players evacuating. There will be numerous processes to avoid abuse, such as scoring the same cards only once.
- Starting at 1% (meaning 10 shares), you are a Bronze Shareholder.
In addition to all above, you will receive one permanent Card Renting Slot ; and then one more for every count of 10 shares that you own. Renting area will be displayed on a special station homepage viewed every time players evacuate, and with a separate page for owners.
- Starting at 10% (meaning 100 shares), you are a Silver Shareholder.
In addition to all above, you will be able to participate in station governance and vote in station events and decisions.
[ Major station events will occur every two months or more and propose to vote on it and earn one reward or another. ]
You will also receive some rewards from station events.
You will receive one Custom Crate slot, allowing you to customize contents of one crate model in Aramea possible dropped crates; you can drop guild messages there for instance or any kind of message in addition to cards you want to create in support of players.
- Starting at 25% (meaning 250 shares), you are a Gold Shareholder.
In addition to all above, you will be able to initiate Station Projects and Operations. Other owners will be able to vote on your projects. Station Project can add owner rewards, station rooms, starfleet, security guard, pilot rewards or pilot fees, or protect from or encourage some station events.
You will also more rewards from station events, and they will be able to include specially minted cards.
You will receive one permanent Player Pack Slot (one for every 25%) ; you can customize it with your own cards and sell it to players; it will be proposed prominently on the station homepage, with your title and description.
- Starting at 50%, or if all shares are sold and you are the top shareholder, you will become the one and only Station Director.
In addition to all above, you will be able to customize Branding and Messages of specific large spaces on the station homepage and advertise here for anything you fancy, be it a link to your player offers, other content, etc.
You will also receive 20 additional Card Renting Slots, and 1 additional Player Pack Slot, all added to your normal allowance.

Next version, M3, will be pvp enabled and test squad combat between players...
