It was an easy day as we won't have our car for at least a week so all I did was a quicker 6 mile run around the neighborhood and a couple of walks with Lulu.
The trees are gradually changing into their muted autumn colors as the cooler nights are here. My loop was a couple of easy flat miles around the neighborhood nearby before heading up onto the quieter back roads that circle around to the busy main street and back downhill to home.
My legs felt good quickly but the flat first miles certainly helped in that regard but my pace didn't slow too much on the couple of decent climbs later on.
