I had originally planned on a long(er) trail run down the Javelina Trail onto a few old trails that I ran in the past but my legs were a bit more fatigued than I wanted so I managed to cover the entire Peavine Trail for just over 10 miles.
The weather was cooler and the sky had some nice clouds but it was still a warm run. The trail is nice and wide and flat (it's a former railroad line) so the first half was pretty mellow. The later part of the trail isn't as scenic as the first 3 mile section and I began to tire once I got to around 6 miles on the return leg.
Fortunately my energy seemed to return as I hit the 7 mile point and I was able to run the whole route for my first 10+ miles in while.
I hope I'm not too worn out going forward as Mt afternoon Lynx Lake hike with Lulu was only a tired mile and a half.
