After yesterday's hard trail run my legs were in the mood for an easier road run. It was a slower start as I looped around the road section of my normal morning run but I was feeling better once I began the gradual half mile climb into the more quiet neighborhood.
After the climb it wad a relaxed loop along quiet back roads before heading back towards home on a very busy main road/uphill before I was able to ease up and coast downhill back to home.
I had hoped to hit 6 miles again but ended up just a bit short - still a good run overall.
Another quiet and relaxed loop around Lynx Lake with Lulu was a perfect way to wrap up the day.
There were only a handful of people along the Southside beach area and no one else was on the trail.
3 miles of easy hiking and a few splashes for Lulu along the way.
