Un fin de semana muy interesante para los amantes de los deportes motor y a propósito de ello, no entiendo la diferencia que hace Disney+ entre motores y motociclismo, aquel que tenga esa señal sabrá de que hablo y quizás pueda ilustrarme.
El MotoGP está entrando en etapa de definición y no puede estar más emocionante, a la lucha de dos se está agregando un tercero que por sus antecedentes seguramente les hace correr frío por la espalda al madrileño Jorge Martín, líder del campeonato y al campeón defensor, el italiano Francesco "Peco" Bagnaia, me refiero al 6 veces campeón de la categoría, el español Marc Márquez.
Si bien es cierto que Márquez está un poco lejos, aún tiene chances matemáticas, en las 3 carreras que restan para finalizar el campeonato hay 111 puntos en disputa y Marc está a 79 de Jorge, además, la actuación del Catalán en las dos carreras del fin de semana confirman tanto el gran rendimiento de su Ducati no oficial como el suyo personal.
En ambas competencias Márquez largó mal perdiendo varios puestos que luego recuperó de la mejor forma, en la carrera sprint terminó 2ro. por detrás de Martín y Bagnaia solo logró un cuarto puesto, en la principal triunfó el histórico 93 seguido por Martín y Bagnaia respectivamente.
Para Martineitor fue un excelente fin de semana donde cosechó 32 puntos contra solo 22 de Peco con lo cual aumentó la diferencia en el torneo a 20 puntos, lo suficiente como para trabajar un poco más cómodo en lo que resta del torneo.
En los Estados Unidos tuvimos acción de la mejor en la máxima categoría del automovilismo internacional y la lucha que estaba muy clara antes de esta jornada también ha variado un poco. Max Verstappen resurgió de las cenizas de su vilipendiado Red Bull para quedarse de gran forma con la carrera sprint del día sábado; el domingo todo cambió y las dos Ferrari con un gran trabajo de Leclerc y Sainz sorprendieron desde el arranque para quedarse con el 1-2 en un gran premio que estuvo algo aburrido por la gran diferencia que sacaron, aunque la lucha entre el de Países Bajos y el británico Lando Norris le puso un poco de emoción al final.
En una controversial decisión, las autoridades de la carrera le impusieron una penalidad a Lando Norris por haber rebasado a Verstappen por fuera de los límites de la pista, eso lo privó del tercer lugar en el podio que lo hubiera acercado en la lucha por el campeonato, fue podio para Max y cuarto lugar para Lando, las diferencias se agrandaron apenas un poco.
Los argentinos pudimos disfrutar de un gran fin de semana de nuestro joven piloto Franco Colapinto, luego de una carrera sprint donde finalizó en el puesto 12 y una mala clasificación para la principal que lo obligó a partir desde el cajón número 15 (en realidad le hubiera correspondido el 17 pero por penalidades otorgadas a Liam Lawson y a George Rusell subió 2 lugares), el argentino remontó varias posiciones para finalizar en el 10mo. puesto y obtener un punto para el torneo.
Faltando un par de giros para concluir la competencia, Colapinto tenía el récord de vuelta, pero el francés Esteban Ocon que acababa de salir de boxes con neumáticos blandos, se la arrebató. Seguramente esta acción del equipo Alpine se debió a estrategia pura, Ocon no suma un punto ya que finalizó penúltimo, pero le arrebató un punto a Williams que lo hubiera acercada más a la posición de Alpine en la copa de constructores y allí hay muchísimo dinero en juego. Otra gran actuación del joven piloto que no deja de sorprender a propios y extraños.
El torneo de Fórmula 1 continúa la próxima semana en México para luego trasladarse a Brasil, por ahora continúa con lucha y un tercer comensal se ha sentado a la mesa para tratar de comerse ese exquisito pastel que representa el campeonato, ¿Ferrari se acordó tarde?, Red Bull habrá vuelto por la buena senda que nos tuvo acostumbrados durante varios años? ¿McLaren se está quedando?
Todas preguntas que se irán contestando a medida que nos acerquemos al final de la temporada, hay lucha y especulación, siempre es bueno para el espectáculo.

The Formula 1 tournament continues next week in Mexico and then moves to Brazil. The fight continues for now, and a third diner has sat down at the table to try to eat that exquisite cake representing the championship. Did Ferrari remember too late? Will Red Bull have returned to the good path we have been accustomed to for several years? Is McLaren falling behind?
These are all questions that will be answered as we approach the end of the season. There will be fighting and speculation, which is always good for the spectacle.
