The headquarters of Social Development which was formerly known as the Children's Foundation of the city of Villa de Cura (Aragua - Venezuela) was the scene this past weekend specifically on Saturday October 19 of an important seminar for the learning and practice of Martial Arts, an activity developed by important masters of karate and local Kenpo sponsored by the authorities of the Institute for Recreation and Sport of Zamora IMDERZA.

Las artes marciales en su filosofía deportiva no solo ejercita al cuerpo físico únicamente, también existe un entrenamiento espiritual para además de fortalecer los músculos pueda ser trabajado el carácter y los valores de los atletas por lo que dicho seminario tenía además este gran componente moral si se puede decir.
Al seminario por información suministrada en la red social de IMDERZA asistieron atletas de todas las edades y de distintas partes del municipio Zamora haciendo de esta actividad un bonito equipo que realizó katas y técnicas marciales que tenían como objetivo principal perfeccionar las posturas y las técnicas de ataque y defensa de las diferentes disciplinas practicadas, en especial el Karate.

Aunque la ciudad posee pocos Dojos para la práctica deportiva de las artes marciales esto no ha permitido que cada vez más jóvenes y adultos se unan a las filas de estas disciplinas milenarias, la presencia de importantes maestros de las artes y el respaldo que IMDERZA le ofrece a cada una de las competencias y eventos referidos a este deporte han atraído la atención de decenas de personas haciendo que ahora se practique prácticamente en las cinco parroquias del Municipio Zamora.

Although the city has few Dojos for the practice of martial arts, this has not allowed more and more young people and adults to join the ranks of these ancient disciplines, the presence of important masters of the arts and the support that IMDERZA offers to each of the competitions and events related to this sport have attracted the attention of dozens of people so that now it is practiced practically in the five parishes of the Municipality Zamora.
Opinión:
Hay que seguir trabajando en las mejoras de la infraestructura deportiva en cuanto a las Artes marciales se refiere para avanzar con más integridad en lo que a formación deportiva se trata, tenemos grandes maestros y profesionales en el área, pero la masificación del deporte exige nuevos retos a las autoridades quienes ven con asombro y alegría como la sociedad zamorana está comprometida con el aprendizaje y la práctica deportiva.
Mis felicitaciones a la directiva de IMDERZA y a la Prof. Carlimer Rivero por promover junto a su equipo este tipo de eventos donde se reconoce y valora el trabajo que hacen las escuelas de Artes Marciales, en este caso, dictando seminarios y otorgándoles además a los presentes reconocimientos por su asistencia y conocimientos adquiridos. Opinion:
We must continue working on the improvements of the sports infrastructure as far as Martial Arts are concerned in order to advance with more integrity as far as sports training is concerned, we have great teachers and professionals in the area, but the massification of the sport demands new challenges to the authorities who see with amazement and joy how the Zamorano society is committed to learning and practicing sports.
My congratulations to the board of IMDERZA and Prof. Carlimer Rivero for promoting with his team this type of event where the work done by the Martial Arts schools is recognized and valued, in this case, giving seminars and also giving those present awards for their attendance and knowledge acquired.
