I have always been on the lookout for a fulfilling hobby to occupy my free time after work. My experiences with Muay Thai were interesting, while it was fun initially, I found it quite exhausting. It’s still enjoyable, but every session drains a hella amount of energy, so I prefer to participate once in a while. Or when there's a cute guy at a gym #lol
This past year, I’ve been deeply enjoying dancing, salsa, bachata, kizomba, you name it. and it continues to captivate me. However, I’ve recently (yesterday, to be exact) taken up a new hobby, fly yoga. Chiang Mai boasts several fly yoga studios, and I had the opportunity to visit one, Fly Yoga Chiang Mai, thanks to a friend, Hot Tee.
It’s a quaint studio, annexed to what seems like a luxurious residence, accommodating only six to eight people per class. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, which I appreciated. I enjoyed it a good amount and see a good benefit that I purchased a full course, anticipating both enjoyment and a positive transformation of my body.
Just yesterday, I experienced fly yoga after a long break, and today, I can already feel its impact. It’s a challenging yet rewarding feeling. I plan to share more photos from my sessions and encourage everyone who hasn’t tried it to give it a go.
Fly yoga is enjoyable and less taxing than other forms of exercise. Plus, I’ve heard it’s great for posture and overall physical well-being so, let's see!
Stay healthy out there Hivers <3
