Hello runners, this is me Rani.
I'm a new member of Hive, and I happen to have a hobby of running, so I'm very happy that Hive has a community that supports my hobby of outdoor activities.

This time let me share my experience of participating in a race that was very memorable for me. DIGILAND RACE

so I first learned about this event from the running community that I joined, at that time one of our members told me to start buying Digiland Run tickets. at that time I immediately invited other friends to join this event.

One day before race day I took my race pack at one of the malls in Jakarta, Senayan City. at the racepack pickup location, there were booths that I could visit. one of them was a health check. ah and one more thing, there I met one of the Indonesian atlates, Roby Sianturi. But at that time I didn't know his name, so I couldn't ask for a photo with him. hopefully at the next race I can get to know him directly.

RACE DAY

during the event, unfortunately some roads were closed and made me late to the event and late at the flag off. but I still ran happily and finished my run in 5km, but unfortunately at the finish time the finish time became longer, and in my strava it became more than 40 minutes because I turned on strava before the start line. even though I wanted to reach personal base, but apparently I couldn't. because I was too tired looking for the start line at that time.

Even so I did not give up, I started running with an initial pace of 8.28. while adjusting my breathing and trying to stay calm so as not to pant easily. with a moving time of 52.55 I finally managed to finish with an average pace of 9.01/km.

What about my personal best? Of course I failed. But that's okay, I will keep practicing until I get my own personal best. running 5km in under 40 minutes.

But, what I like about this event is, all the running routes that are passed are so sterile. runners become safe to run comfortably. and the excitement of many children cheering on the edge of the runner's path. makes us even more enthusiastic.

not only encouraged by the digiland team. but I was also encouraged by my brother who ran together. even though he did not join digiland, he still ran outside the runner's lane and we met at the finish line, he welcomed me at the finish line.

I got refreshment ion water, banana and soy milk. and also a beautiful medal. I really like the medal this time because the design is good. and we took a photo with my friend and my sister after that.
