One Strong Community’s vision is to shape a group of creators as a unified force to influence art, culture, business, and innovation through social media blogging on a blockchain platform.
What is the One Strong Community?
The One Strong Community is a non-profit online social media group that exists in the following formats:

- Hive Community
- Facebook Group
The “One Strong Community Group” is an online community section on the Hive blockchain that aims to build programs and spaces to nurture creativity, developing one's goals and missions, creating community accountability and informative expression.
The group provides the One Strong membership to post creations, projects, and other products to circulate innovative, creative work, community-driven initiatives, and development updates.
Charles Laboy created the One Strong Community to establish a way to showcase and build up creators with the Hive blockchain. He loved having the ability to develop on the blockchain and be supported by other creators worldwide.
He wanted to centralize a group in one city and form a chapter. After programming and exposure have built membership, we expand to other cities to build up the network of new content creators to the platform and provide space, events, and resources for interested individuals and organizations.
This community will combine a vision of stimulating creativity through votes and interaction in a unified effort by dedicated artists and interested residents. Hive provides the capabilities of supporting the members that join under One Strong to participate in creative community initiatives such as online challenges, giveaways, and networking opportunities.
The One Strong Hive Account “@onestrong” blog facilitates the goals, messaging & programming of the One Strong Creative Community Group to the public. The account is a public ledger and blog account that details programming instructions and distributes rewards for the membership directly from the team behind the account. The @onestrong account promotes posts that inform new and established creators on networking, publishing and earning initiatives by the One Strong Community Group on the Hive blockchain.
“One Strong Community Members” are Hive Creators that participate in the programming that encourages and tracks endeavors, interests, education, and experiences. One Strong Membership is free and based on a creator’s ability to follow the programming rules established for the day. The group will discuss any costs ahead of time.
History of the One Strong Hive Account
In November of 2017, Charles “Charlie” Laboy created the @onestrong account on the Hive blockchain and named it the home of the “One Strong Community Group.” Charlie established this account to build economic and social resources that promote, engages, and empower creative community engagement on the Hive blockchain. The group promotes the value of good educational, recreational, health, and financial information through content by our users.
Charlie created this group account to build community programs around the success of the Hive blockchain’s Proof of Brain system combined with Hive communities. He hoped by bringing members onto the Hive Blockchain to participate in the One Strong Community programming he was hosting would allow the ability to revolutionize social media community engagement. PeakD centralizes the One Strong Hive community posts so that the account can upvote and enable members to earn in the internal incentive system set by the group. One Strong Hive Community promotes users sharing their information to a base of like-minded members who are willing to support your success. The group will coordinate with members to host a support system that would benefit the members and reward activity with the group(i.e., upvoting a post with a stake in tokens and participating in challenges).
By posting in the One Strong Community, known as a “hive community group, “ the group can focus on hosting blogs and curating members' posts on the Hive Blockchain. Utilizing the HIVE Blockchain, users will be encouraged to post and engage in community-specific and personally driven content onto the Hive blockchain using their Hive accounts. In return, the blockchain rewards the groups and their members for their creations, votes, and other planned engagements.
