Rutina y conocimiento del hombro [ESP]
Routine and knowledge of the shoulder [ENG]
Greetings dear friends of the SWC community, I am @norman-sw.
Today I focus on the shoulder area since it is one of the muscles that are used when performing the plank. Before starting the routine, I will give you a brief concept of the shoulder. The shoulder is a fascinating joint with a complex anatomy and composed of different structures. It has the greatest range of motion of all the joints in the body, which in turn makes it a joint susceptible to many pathologies and injuries.
The rotator cuff makes up the deepest muscle group in the shoulder. The term “cuff” means “envelope,” and is appropriate to describe the tendons that make it up since they wrap around the humeral head to stabilize it and give it movement.
