A Month of Bliss and Blessings

We are about to welcome June in less than 3 hours. Time sure flies, whew! But yes, May has been a month of personal connection, brushing shoulders and elbows with people in real life, kicking all inhibitions, shyness, and whatnot, chatting away, laughing, teasing, hugging, eating, and drinking beer. I gotta admit that I loved it, although it meant being drained and exhausted at the end of each day.

The first week, we were at a house blessing. The next was at a grand family reunion where we reconnected with our roots. Then graduation events and celebrations in the last two days. All were tiring but blissful nonetheless. The emotions were real, they made me feel more alive than ever.

It was also a month when we spent more time away from the screen - connecting with nature, being out under the sun, getting our hands dirty, gardening, and grounding. My little man also loved every bit of the experience and wanted more of it he often runs out the door every chance he gets, lol!

This was shared previously here.

May was also of visitation (although we do this monthly). Saying hello to people we care about, being there in person, being physically present. Busyness usually makes us forget or postpone things but we remind ourselves not to neglect what matters most because we never know what tomorrow brings.

We had a few good walks too. Well, some have been mentioned randomly in my previous posts. Those times are sure nice and fun, not to downplay the many awesome benefits to our health (body and soul).

Life in the real world is fantastic when we intentionally give time and actually live it.

Meanwhile, the virtual front has been good too. Even when I spend more time away from the screen most days, I still show up and do the grind, especially here on the blockchain.

Posting, curating, engaging, and growing daily has become part of the lifestyle and it can't be missed, even just for a day :)

Learning a new skill (or new stuff at least)?

This is where the brake hits. I have just been chugging along. Call it laziness or giving way for Mr. P to do its thing, lol! But not to be too hard on myself, I did learn to repurpose my super loose PJ into something cool and better (might share about that DIY on another day).

Learning kind of took a pause. Perhaps the coming month (June) will treat me a little better in that arena :)

Nevertheless, this month has been incredible and fulfilling. While it had fewer sunny days, it proved generous in bliss (connections, family, fun, better health) and blessings (rain, profits, revenues, good surprises, and opportunities). Speaking of, one of the properties we were eyeing to acquire is now officially ours and is making us consider relocating to another town within the year.

We shall see...

Until then, life in the lil kingdom continues. We are still growing roses and yes we enjoy sunsets here too.

It's Friday and I hope yours is funtastic! Here's to a terrific weekend (and new month) as it arrives!
