Love serves as a ray of hope in a world full of chaos and uncertainty, reminding us of the joy and beauty found in even the most ordinary of circumstances. Blessed are lovers" sums up the profound effect that love has on our lives and has been repeated throughout history. Love is a force that has the power to change our existence, whether it is love between partners, friends, or even love we have for ourselves.
In August 2023, I hope to wed my girlfriend, but I'm still unsure of my future residence. We should all reside in my mother's home, she says. The potential spouse disagreed because she wanted to remain independent after marriage. My mother was widowed and had been living alone, so I was perplexed. However, I also comprehend the future wife's desire for independence after marriage.
The words and advice my father gave me in the past, when he was still alive—he passed away two years ago—remain fresh in my mind. He always said that once you, my son, get married, you should live independently because if you do, later on when you have a family, you and your wife will be able to handle matters on your own and won't need parents. You know, because domestic issues should only concern you and him. I can still vividly recall this advice even now.
Finally I got the news that my long-awaited wedding plans were rejected. because my lover valued money more than his devotion to my mother and me.
He forced me to choose between two options, but he insisted that I do so:
Choose your mother or me.
That's why I later explained that I preferred mom.
And because life goes on, I never look back; instead, I take it as a lesson. However, I could only tell her that love is a philosophy of life. I never regret the decisions I make. Blessed are you, blessed is my love. I hope you find a new partner who understands and understands.
