One of the things I love to eat are desserts, there is always room for one, and in Poland you get a lot of variety, so just yesterday talking to @gtg about Polish desserts, and how they use in many of their recipes poppy seeds I remembered that I had never told you about some of the desserts I have tried here, but it's never too late to do so, so let's get started.

The first and my favorite of course are the poppy seed filled buns or in Polish (Drożdżówki z makiem) with a yeast dough and covered with a delicious sugar glaze, although my favorite part are the poppies, and the more they have of this one, the more I like it, and they are really delicious and very soft (of course this depends on where you buy them) but we have a bakery that bakes very tasty ones, although I am seriously thinking of making some at home myself for December to learn how to make them.
Mi segundo favorito es el Eklerki (en polaco), y aunque este postre es de origen francés, también se consigue en Polonia y son tan deliciosos que te vas a chupar los dedos, se trata de un bollo suave relleno con crema pastelera y cubierto con glaseado de chocolate, la primera vez que los probé aquí recuerdo que fue un regalo de mi suegro y desde entonces cada vez que podemos lo compramos para disfrutar de un rico postre.
My second favorite is the Eklerki (in Polish), and although this dessert is of French origin, it is also available in Poland and they are so delicious that you will lick your fingers, it is a soft bun filled with pastry cream and covered with chocolate icing, the first time I tried them here I remember it was a gift from my father in law and since then every time we can we buy it to enjoy a delicious dessert.
Otro de los postres que me gustan son las mini tartas de Pavlova, y no son más que merengues horneados, para después añadirles crema o nata y ponerles algunas frutas como frambuesas y arándanos, por último se espolvorean con un poco de azúcar glass, el sabor es sabroso también y es una combinación suave y crocante al mismo tiempo.
Another dessert that I like are the mini Pavlova cakes, and they are nothing more than baked meringues, then add cream or cream and put some fruits like raspberries and blueberries, finally sprinkled with a little powdered sugar, the taste is tasty too and it is a soft and crunchy combination at the same time.
Y por último las Kajmaczmi, y son unas especies de tartaletas rellenas de pudín, y aunque son buenas, no está entre mis postres favoritos, pero debe confesar que los polacos saben hacer postres muy sabrosos con masa de levadura y también con muchas semillas de amapolas, y si vienes a Polonia en este post te recomendé algunos que puedes probar y que seguro te van a encantar, ah y no olviden el croissant de San Martín ese también es sabroso y uno de mis favoritos.
And finally the Kajmaczmi, and they are a kind of tartlets filled with pudding, and although they are good, it is not among my favorite desserts, but you must confess that the Poles know how to make very tasty desserts with yeast dough and also with many poppy seeds, and if you come to Poland in this post I recommended some that you can try and that you will surely love, oh and do not forget the St. Martin's croissant that is also tasty and one of my favorites.
