Over the course of last year, the FreeCompliments Community has created several consistent jobs that pay out in HSBI. We’ve kept a payroll that has helped with the productivity and growth of the community. Using the HSBI (Hive Stake-Based Income) model to pay employees allows them to receive permanent [income](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-income) as long as they keep creating posts. This means that even if they work for only a month or so, they’ll have a lifetime income, in the form of votes, as a result of the HSBI Units they receive, provided they keep posting to Hive. # Update to Job Payments In the interest of position retention, we’re going to implement a stricter payment increase schedule. Rather than arbitrary raises, I’m going to increase the payment for all jobs by 1 HSBI for every 1 month that a worker remains with us, provided they are consistent with completing their work on time and inform me of any potential absence on a timely basis. This will be done for every position except for backup positions. For backup workers, I will increase the HSBI payment by 1 after every instance that they are activated (during their active time, they will still receive the same prorated payment as the regular position). For referral specialists, I changed the minimum criteria to get paid to 3 HSBI per month. The aforementioned 1 HSBI raise will only come into effect if they continue meeting the minimum criteria of bringing in 3 people per month. The first raises will become effective as of November 1st, 2024. Thank you to @alphahippie for helping me build this idea! You’ll be a beneficiary on this post. # Conclusion In order to improve job retention, we’re implementing more consistent HSBi raises for those who stay with us.
