I think Success is a hopelessly subjective concept.

To me Success on Steemit means consuming lots of great content by wonderful creators while also being able to express myself.

It's as basic as that.

Building connections with talented peers is a bonus.

I hereby pledge to grow my channel using only the good old fashioned way and prove it can be done by making genuine connections and immersing yourself in the community.

I've seen people are taking all sorts of shortcuts and I just think it is so against what this community should be about.

There is no substitute for hard work and consistency. Being sincere and having good intentions should be your priority. So I am going to do this 100% organically.

I might use this post as a reference piece one day in the future.
