Part One
Over the past five years specifically, I’ve been studying, learning and growing my Cryptocurrency Portfolio within the Compumatrix Ecosystem (CNI). The financial education I stepped into since becoming a founding member has been unprecedented in my life.
A bit of backstory: The bulk of my life has been spent as a “healing artist” doing energy work and massage therapy. I learned a lot about: humanity, what being of service means, the body/mind/spirit connection, what healing is, and myself. I left that world almost a decade ago and never looked back. A few years into the deepest transitory time of my life, Compumatrix landed in my lap.
As time went by, I realized I was learning about the financial world I avoided. To be completely transparent, I never cared about money. Although I was good at what I did as a massage therapist, I didn’t get rich doing it. I never quite understood how money worked so well for some and not so well for others.
Having dreams of building a community of some sort my whole life, applying for a loan to start a new business never made sense. I hated the idea of debt. Student loans from college were enough. Something just didn’t feel right about the system. Yet I carried on until my life took a big turn. I wrote about it on Steemit in 2018.
At first, Compumatrix was a simple business for me to earn an income online, which is what I was looking for in 2015. I was in a transitional stage of my life and all I wanted to do was road trip around the USA and have a stable income.
Enter the concept of decentralization, via Compumatrix & Bitcoin.
A smidge of history: In 2006 our founder Henry began creating an online system to “earn points” by buying & selling what were then called “virtual prepaid cards.” By buying, selling & redeeming our cards, compounding happens. Your earnings grow quite beautifully this way! Which is the heartbeat of Compumatrix.
As a community we played this game for some time, waiting for Henry to find a way to take our “earned points” and legitimately turn our earnings into cash we could use in our daily lives.
Building a new paradigm takes a lot of work. As I'm sure you can imagine...we hit many, many roadblocks.
I lost count of how many times we’ve “almost made it out the gate” a long time ago. Suffice it to say that disgruntled members, keeping up with the pace of technology, complying with the many rules & regulations around the World (our community is International) slowed down our opening day.
We’ve been through a lot together. A lot has changed not only in our business model, in our membership. Some members have been with Henry for 17 years! We have made mistakes along the way. Some gave up. Some passed on. Some inherited their own business after their loved one passed (you can do that in CNI.)
Along the way, Compumatrix has morphed into a huge project. As of this writing, I've not seen ANYTHING like it. Which explains why it's taken so long. We're either crazy or on the cutting edge of something huge.
I believe Compumatrix will be to DeFi what Amazon is to retail. Except we have heart 💜
And I want you to know very clearly with this post, it’s not been easy. We have worked really, really hard. We have been through SO much as a team. If you want to know the meaning of faith, trust, respect, honor, patience, openness, willingness, perseverance & determination, we have it all…exponentially.
From Henry, to the Developers, to our Partners, to our Board, to our Members; we are a miraculous bunch. Anyone on the cutting edge of creation that serves the empowerment of humanity in these times deserves deep respect. That’s my story and I’m stickin’ to it.
We’ve done our part.
And did it quite well.
