Wow, I love this! very well written, and it draws you in.

very creative freewrite today, with so many ways it could go! i had to go the creepy route myself, the second I read 'awakening' my mind couldn't get out of a sci-fi kinda mood.

magic dollies and magic children, not sure if it's science fiction or horror lol truly a good read (and i agree, seems a lot like flash fiction).
