No at all, the app has no settings related to that.. It may interest you that I was able to replicate the issue on android 4.2 jellybean for music files (.mp3) although, some files worked and others crashed.

The bug is exclusive to Android 6.0 marshmallow, I did test on 4.2 jellybean but it wasn't reproducible.. Also my bluetooth is already ON as you can see. I omitted the part about location on purpose.
