No @bijotte. I was in Montana (just over the bridge) panning. You're not allowed to take anything (rocks included I think) out of the parks without a permit (or you're a govt off getting the bene's)

Great post @alaskahippie I've never been to Alaska but looking forward to that day. Still have Hawaii and Peurto Rico to hit as well though. Getting ready to head back out soon though and not really caring

Loved Yellowstone. Made some new friends there (elk) and had a grand time panning the Yellowstone River (until we were told we couldn't because of some politics that were going on at the time.) Keep

Best adventures are unplanned! Thanks for the hitchhike (story.) I was getting a little disappointed seeing all the one line steems. I was glad to find an actual trip (paid for) with a story behind it.

Been there... Cool place to visit, but could you imagine living next to it? Egads... I'd weigh a ton :0)
