My laptop is on its way to be fixed now. A friend got it from me today and will get it to the person who will do what he can to help me tomorrow. This post is to tell him what was happening with it and

My computer is not working now. There is something wrong with it regarding the mouse and possibly viruses. Due to this trouble, I am behind on everything. No posting, and no other work that brings money

I have been "playing" @nextcolony on STEEM since a couple of weeks after it came out last spring. I used to post updates at least monthly and show my progress. But as a "free to play"

This month I had 353 SP before my power up for SPUD 10: I powered up 40 STEEM to SP and now have 393 SP: This is a good result since I powered up at all. This is a bad result since my power up contribution

 I do not use my phone much, but soon will be on travel. People have recommended I download appics and use it for posting during this time. I tried to find appics for android to download it and could not. If you can give me any step-by-step help to get appics on my phone, I would really appreciate the help!

 We’ve had some positive price action on STEEM this week for the first time in a long time. As I write this, STEEM is over 17 cents. How are you feeling about our current situation? Are you an optimist or a pessimist these days?

 Steemdunk is no longer offering its services as of January 15 2020. They are closed for good. They are powering down and the website is offline. If you were using STEEMDunk for autovoting, you need another place for that now. The only one I know of is: https://steemauto.com/ I know there are more autovoting services, but this is the only one I have a link to. How about you?  February 1 is the date of SPUD 10, and it's is not too soon to be preparing for it. I will be participating again for this STEEM Power Up Day initiated by @streetstyle. Instead of scrambling to find STEEM at the end of the month, now I have it ready to go. I need to remember to get the savings transferred back to the regular part of my wallet 3 days ahead of SPUD Day since this is a limit on our STEEM savings account. Aside from the benefit of growing your SP with SPUD you can win prizes too. One thing you have to do to be in line for the prizes is to have a post on your blog before the event, so be sure and publish one now if you are in and hope to win a prize. How about you?  We are halfway through January 2020 now. Common internet wisdom says that one-half of people who made New Year's resolutions have already given them up by this time. I made only three resolutions this year. Two are regarding work, and one is about improving my health. So far I have only worked on the health resolution. I am still on it and trying hard. Until I get my health back, I can't do much else, so this is my top priority. How about you? Did you make resolutions, and are you on track with them now? Is this the year you finally break through on a goal with the help of these New Year's thoughts?

 We have a new rpg game on STEEM. Holybread is ready to come out of beta and actively looking for sign ups.  I have over 300 splinterlands cards between 2 blogs, and recently heard I can delegate those to other steemers, and maybe earn some steem. I am not playing the game, and I have most of these cards from winning them in contests. I will be glad to try delegating, but I have no idea where to even start. Do you have any experience delegating splinterlands cards? If you delegate them or lease delegations, please let me know your experience, tips and tricks. I want to hear from you!

 Are you using the steemit dApp to post on STEEM now? It seems like some people are returning to it in order to post to the hive tags. I have been experimenting with the new tags. It seems like you can use them on any dApp. As long as your hive tag is in one of the first five positions, your post will show up in the feed of the hive. I use dApps that pay me for using them in upvotes or tokens. Some of them require their own tag in the first position, o I cannot put the hive tag there. My favorites of the dApps are: dpoll ntopaz esteem busy travelfeed tasteem How about you? Are you back on steemit, or did you never leave? Where do you like to post from?  Do you "binge watch" Netflix? This is something new I learned about this week. I have not been feeling well, and ended up in bed listening to a lot of podcasts about increasing productivity. Binging on Netflix came up several times as being a problem. I guess this is now a thing. I do not have Netflix and do not even really know what it is except for some type of replacement for TV. I don't have time to watch the content of others, and I especially do not care to pay for the privilege. How about you? Is Netflix a part of your life?
