The sushi at Sugarfish is amazingly fresh and well prepared. The latter puzzzles some people, who simply view it as raw, cut up fish. Which it is. But the same goes for certain beef cuts, like flank steak. Cut it the wrond direction, and it can take a sturdy jaw to chew through.
This sushi, cut to the proper thickness and at the best angle, actually melts in your mouth. So good, especially with the unfiltered sake they serve.
