Militarization of Youth from Luhansk Region Continues: Children from Bilovodsk Sent to Russia

The militarization of Ukrainian youth from the temporarily occupied territories of the Luhansk region continues. Children from the town of Bilovodsk were sent to the Novosibirsk region of the Russian Federation, where they were placed in the "Yunarmeyets" camp. This camp is located near the deployment site of the 24th Guards Regiment of the Special Forces Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces.

The "Yunarmeyets" camp is designed for the ideological and military training of youth. In such an environment, children from the occupied territories are subjected to intensive propaganda and military discipline training, which is part of a broader strategy of militarizing the population in the occupied areas. The goal is to raise a new generation loyal to the occupying power and prepared to participate in military actions on Russia's side.

International organizations have repeatedly expressed concern about the forced militarization of children in Ukraine's occupied territories. This practice is a blatant violation of international law, particularly the Convention on the Rights of the Child, which prohibits the use of children in armed conflicts.

Ukraine continues to work to draw the attention of the international community to these crimes and seeks accountability for those who organize and carry out such activities.
