The thing about dreams…

Last week while cleaning I found my dreams list from 2014 which prompted the post Are you a dreamer? and the associated game of guessing which of the 76 I had completed in the last four years.

Please note that like humans dreams change, they need to adapt to fit in with the new you as you change and adapt to what life throws at you. So lets have a look back over these dreams as I have now updated them with achievements, changes and completed scratch that idea.
I hope you get a laugh out of it and take some time to go back over your dreams as dreams of past can be amusing at the best of times.

Dreams list updated for real life! _{I apoligise in advance for the shitty formatting but you add anything in and it breaks the numbers, which breaks my head! There are photos at the end and winners I promise.}

1. New Bedroom Suite Nope still have the same one I bought when I was in my early twenties, I have bought a new mattress, but in all honesty what does it matter what it looks like so long as it works.
2. New TV Unit #DONE Only cause I never had one and we needed one for the new house
3. New Computer Desk/Set Up Still waiting! – TBC this year sometime as I will be working from home with the new bub, joys of being an accountant.
4. Ducati 600cc – Yellow Nope, not ever, safety first now, I do love motorbikes through so maybe will just ride a friends around the block once in a while for fun
5. Electric Hybrid Car with cruise control/back support – Automatic Not yet, I have the same car I brought back in 2009 which was not a hybrid.
6. Parachute - Made to order (Green/Pink) OMG I miss parachuting, but not a high priority now so probabaly never, unless we win lotto money and I can also afford my own plane!
7. Jump out of a Helicopter (In Europe) Just for the weightlessness feeling when you jump out, I almost jumped out of a helicopter in OZ but was too sick so missed out 
8. Diamond Earrings 3/4 carat My hubby @shai-hulud offered to buy these for me, even picked some out but I thought of a million better ways to spend our money so said no.
9. Hot Air Balloon Ride *Still to come this will be on my dreams list until it happens)
10. Go to Outer Space - Feel weightlessness and come home! Lotto money wish, although much more doable than when I first put it on the list.
11. Go to Heston's Restaurant Don’t even know where this is but I will get there if I am ever in the right country.
12. Get Heston to cater a dinner party Lotto money required
13. White Christmas Need to leave Australia for this one but never say never!
14. Dog Sled Ride Would love to still do this
15. Sing song with someone famous back in the day I can’t sing so fat chance of this ever happening, lol!
16. Learn to sing Required for the one above but unlikely, unless a voice box transplant exists?
17. Volunteer at Circle-A-Ranch (send our children if we have any) Not likely but still possible
18. Complete a tough mother/mudslide event This is very doable and we even planned on it last year but our friends bailed and we double booked, so another year it is.
19. Buy my sister a new car I never bought her a new car as we never had spare cash, I did give her my old car through.
20. Purple Gold – Earrings/bracelet & necklace Not worth the money to buy them, but if I had lotto money I would consider it.
21. Renew Vows in the snow – 10 years 12/4/2023 Coming up so fast, still doable.
22. Go to the Olympics (See the open/close ceremonies and gymnastics/diving events) Maybe one day!
23. Go to Melbourne Cup (New dress/shoes) Oh to dress up pretty for the races, not a high priority these days but could be done if I truly desired it in the future. Melbourne is only 4 hours away by plane…
24. Take my mum/dad/sister/niece and husband on a cruise Still hope we will be financially secure to do this in the future.
25. Retire by 40 - Financially free Come on STEEMIT!!!
26. Climb Mount Kinabalu *We hope to get back to Koto Kinabalu one day to do this and the next two, all which got added to our dreams list after visiting Gaya Island for our honeymoon
27. Go to Turtle Island As above
28. Do a Jungle River Cruise As above
29. Learn another language We still hope to do this, our son will be Thai but the Thai language is so hard to learn…
30. Take my sudo grandparents on a holiday On the lotto list
31. Take my niece on a trip with me #DONE I took my niece to Sydney with me to meet her cousin, my nephew, it was just the two of us for a week, we had a lot of fun!
32. Learn to play the drums Not something I really care much about these days
33. Buy and electrical drum kit Not needed if I’m not going to play the drums
34. Buy a family home – See Appendix A #DONE Not to Appendix A specifications as that was lotto money dreams but we do have a second home in a great school zone we can move into at anytime, we till at this stage choose to live in out tiny house as why not if the other one is paying itself off while we live it up here.
35. Talk on stage with my husband #DONE We have done this together and I have spoken on stage many times by myself, I am a nervous sweaty mess everytime…*
36. New Clothes – Shopping in New York with my sister I went to NY but not with my sister, I did shop at Macy’s though and still love my jeggings.
37. Get my best friend new teeth and boobs Lotto money wish, she still needs/wants them
38. Quit Work – Traditional Job I still work in my traditional job but I hope that will change with things like Steemit etc.
39. Renovate my sudo grandparent’s house (De-clutter) Still to do, they are such hoarders…
40. More storage in our home #DONE This was a must of living in a small home, good storage and it’s the first thing I did when we moved in.
41. Finish my garden beds #DONE But you would know if you follow me that I had to pull them all up again
42. Go to India on a charity event my cousin runs yearly I sent my little brother but was too sick to go myself, he enjoyed it a lot.
43. Help my cousin set up charity in India She did it all by herself while I was in and out of hospital.
44. Take my brother on holiday and leadership training He still needs it but unlikely to do it ever
45. Learn to draw/paint I’m not all that talented at either but it never stops me trying.
46. Learn how to bake/decorate cakes I made my engagement cake but haven’t tried again since, still on the list, just need more time!
47. Learn how to look better/ be healthier #DONE I have learnt to love myself which is what this is all about!
48. Learn how to take photos and manipulate them into art Again more time is needed, I have started the basics.
49. Volunteer Work/Help Aid #DONE I have been volunteering for years, setting up support groups and breaking stigmas associated with having an ostomy bag, I wont stop this.
50. Have or adopt a baby/children #DONE We recently got matched with a little boy from Thailand, we hope to meet him in the coming months, so excited!!!
51. Travel the world – See Appendix B #DONE While I haven’t travelled everywhere I want to go, I have ticked off a few of them so I think this deserves to be on the accomplished list.
52. Tattoo redone in Hong Kong The wait list was like 2-4 years so we never signed up, I do still want my tattoo redone but it doesn’t have to be done in Hong Kong.
53. Take my niece to Disney World We went to Disney World and Universal Studios while in Florida in 2017 but we didn’t take my niece, lotto money required so we can take the whole family.
54. Visit Theme Parks around the World #DONE As I said above we made it
55. Go to Cirque Du Soleil in Las Vegas This was on my list until the mass shooting last year, not sure I want to put myself in that situation, plus I can see them here and have every year for the last ten or so.
56. See Pink Lakes Still to do
57. See the Rainbow Mountains in China Still to do, these are awesome by the way and really exist.
58. Buy an Island Cheaper than you may think only half a million for an island in Canada, lotto money but not impossible.
59. See the Grand Canyon #DONE We flew over the Grand Canyon while travelling, its huge, I would love to spend some time there but still consider this done as all I said was see it.*
60. See the Northern Lights show Still on the OMG wouldn’t this be amazeballs list.
61. Cruise through Alaska Still on the OMG wouldn’t this be amazeballs list.
62. Train through the Rockies Still on the OMG wouldn’t this be amazeballs list.
63. Stay at the Palm (Atlantis Island) Resort in Dubai Still on the OMG wouldn’t this be amazeballs list, my mother in law is in Dubai as we speak, not at the Atlantis though.
64. Walk/Hike Cradle Mountain in Tasmania I still haven’t got to Tasmania, the only state in Australia I haven’t seen yet, planning on going in 2020.
65. Go Skiing/Learn to Ski We went skiing and I was too sick to ski, so my hubby went out daily to the lessons and told me how I wasn’t missing a thing cause it was shite anyway, I knew he was lying but it was nice he tried to make me feel better.
66. Learn to Snow Board As above
67. Maintain a healthy weight at 65kg (Fit & Toned) #DONE *For the last two I have stayed at the same level.
68. Gardner for our new house and garden Need a giant garden first
69. Go on a Safari Haven’t got to Africa yet but I hope too.
70. Go shopping at Kookai #DONE *Just a random shop that I liked to buy clothes from.
71. Go to Peter Island – in Hawaii I still hope to visit Hawaii one day.
72. Go on a rewards cruise We went on a nude cruise but it wasn’t as a reward for anything other than we wanted to go and do it.
73. **Take my mother in law on a trip with us #DONE We took her to Penang in 2017, she broke her shoulder, the one she didn’t already have broken when we left OZ, wasn’t the trip we envisioned.
74. Pet Snake with Terrarium I love snakes and this will happen one day, but not if @shai-hulud had anything to say about it, lol…
75. Pet Turtle with Terrarium I had a turtle when I was a teenager, I would love another one as when I went travelling my aunty looked after him and after one long trip she refused to give him back 
76. Go in a submarine for a ride Nope Not EVER… MUST of ran out of ideas on the way to 100…
77. ………….

There are pleanty of new dreams to be added to the list but that's for another post another day!

We took mum to Penang in 2017, this is the upsidedown museum so much fun!



This is the view from our room its what sparked the dream of climbing Mount Kinabulu.

I told my niece if she could fit into the suitcase I would take her to Sydney with me, she didn't believe me but did it anyway. We had a ball together!

I love the gym, my hubby and I got four to five times a week always before 7am.
