Hello all! I get the question allot of how I connect my Wordpress sites to Hive. So in this post I am going to talk about some of the tools I use to get my Wordpress sites connected to the Hive blockchain!
Think of this as more of just an intro post giving you the tools of the trade and a bit of a description about them. I will be posting later posts talking about each tool individually and how I use them in my builds.
Exxp.io
For bloggers, the first tool you want to use is going to be @exxp. This is a plugin that you can install to connect your blog to the Hive blockchain so that when you create a post on your home blog, you will have the option to send it to Hive. Shortly after you publish the post, you will see it in your posts on the blockchain!
Exxp.io is managed by the @steempress witness group of @howo and @fredrikaa.

Hiverss
The Hiverss is an awesome tool that is currently managed by the one and only @hivetrending with the @hive.pizza crew! I use this tool ALLOT, lol, just ask hivetrending, lol. This is not a Wordpress plugin, but it is a Hive RSS feed structure that you can use to pull really any grouping of posts that you want. I use the Super RSS Feed plugin with Wordpress on most sites, I use different plugin on Coin Logic, but the rest use the Super RSS feed. Again, I will do a full on detailed post with pics for each of these tools and will update this post with the links at a later date.

Hive Price
This is another gem from @hivetrending and the Hive Pizza crew! This plugin allows you to set up a widget with the price of any Hive Engine token with links to Hive-Engine, TribalDex, and LeoDEX! I even got to give some input on the plugin myself because I got to test out the first version on HiveHustlers.com which was fun!
HivePay
@hivepay-io is an e-commerce payment processing tool from the CTP group with @blainjones as the mastermind behind it! They had launched a WooCommerce plugin with the first version, but after they upgraded to their version 2 and WooCommerce made some pretty major upgrades, the older plugin no longer works, as you know if you follow the @hivelist account, lol.
But, they still have an awesome form builder that I still use in different ways. All I do is create a form in the form builder, and then copy and paste the HTML into your Wordpress site and you have a Hivepay button!
You can see this in action as the vendor signup payment function on the Hivelist Store, as well as a tipping option for musicians on @blocktunes! Here is an example from one of our featured artists, @ravenmus1c, https://blocktunes.net/raven.
WooCommerce Hive Payment Plugin
This one was one of the first little tools I saw that forked over to Hive from Steem. I was happy to see @roomservice pick up this project and fork it because I tried and yeah, wasn't working out, lol. That's why I use Wordpress and let smarter people do the dirty work, lol.
This plugin has some issues after the latest WooCommerce updates and only works with stablecoin options, but doesn't do any conversions, so as far as I am concerned, 1 HBD is equal to 1 USD. I personally cannot afford to pay a developer, but the plugin is open source and if you know PHP and JS and want to give it a stab, that would be cool! Again, I will get into more of this in a later post.
In Conclusion
Wordpress is a tool I have been using for a long time and as a designer and multimedia guy, it fits better for me because I can create dynamic sites with just little ole me and some time, where it would take an entire team allot of time to build something from scratch code.
So I basically look at it like Henry Ford and the assembly line. I find ways to take prebuilt pieces and fit them together to do and look how I want, in a way I know without having to learn a bunch of different code languages!
So these are some tools people can use to create their own Hive front ends or at least turn their blog into a Hive connected blog and earn while still keeping their branding!
