What a nice message to stumble on

I haven't used partiko since I first heard of it and since I didn't have access to my PC today but some more time to read chats while travelling I checkedrcked it out again and happened to see 1 new message. It contained this.

I justed wanted to take the time to thank the user for this message. Although I have to admit I don't remember him as decentmemes was quite short-lived but showed how quick and easy you could build your own frontend on Steem and how much better original memes were than brainless competitors mining on users. I hope I get to stumble upon you on the platform again and that you hopefully are still active (haven't checked yet)

It means a lot to me cause this has been one of my main focuses on Steem and the team at @ocd has helped me out with this a lot as well. I hope that our attempts with @ocdb regarding distribution will also ensure that these sort of actions happen again in the near future by our userbase.

I don't think people get these messages a lot as curators are quite underrated on the platform, I just want to remind people to let your favourite curators know from time to time as they are not as many around anymore. If your planning on being on Steem long term it can be an extra incentive to be on their list of users they remember.

All that above was not directed at me (that would've made me sound like I'm expecting people to send me thank you postcards), there are many curators and curation guilds who exist and spend a lot of time even though they may not make anything out of it. Let them know how much you appreciate their work and if anything that they keep sticking to a more generous income model on this platform.

I hope we will see a lot more curators join the platform soon, and also content creators and regular users of course. :)

Good night!
