rains

Wet season Although according to the Bangla calendar Ajshh-Shravan (from mid-June to mid-August) is a two-month rainy season, but in reality the monsoon starts from June and its stability till October. At the same time, the southwest monsoon wind carried rain, which is more than 80 percent of the annual rainfall in Bangladesh, and the entire country is in water-related condition. During this time, most of the floodplains were flooded. Depending on the local height, the depth of the rainy season and its durability vary from different parts of the country. Monsoon remains the most permanent (more than six months) in low areas such as haor, bil and jhil of Sylhet, Netrokona, Kishoreganj, Gopalganj and Pabna districts. Its stability in the middle part of Bangladesh is very low, maximum three to four months. In the rainy season, boats became a common means of transportation in rural areas. Rainy monsoon is very important for the farmers of the area, which are flood-free or shallow flooded (up to 30 cm deep). At that time they prepared rice seeds and land. For the fishermen community of Bangladesh, the monsoon season is very important. In this season the submerged floodplains become a huge housetop for aquatic plants and animals. Popular tropical fruits such as mango, jackfruit, jackfruit, pineapple, guava, duaia, rice, latkan, rhythm, etc. are available in this season.
