Hello all,
So I recently uploaded my first video to Youtube to help smooth out the process for installing the Verge wallet on the Mac. Most of the directions I found online were not working out for me, despite their really nice step by step instructions. The actual wallet install was fine, it was getting the blockchain to sync which I couldn't manage. So there is a way to install the blockchain without having to download the whole thing in your wallet. For the most part, the instructions are for PCs or have you go through terminal, which I've never been good at. The one thing I could gather from all the instructions as well as the terminal commands, is that you've got to find the wallet folder and files and replace the blockchain file generated by the wallet, with the most recent blockchain which you can download from various websites.
It's pretty straight forward drag and drop, with a couple of little tricks to show hidden files you'll need access to as well. I'm no programmer, but this worked for me, so maybe it'll help you as well.
Here are the websites you'll need to get started:

I am a supporter of Verge as a project. I've had good interactions with people in the community as well as the developer himself and they have a cool roadmap which they have been delivering on thus far. Let's see how this month wraps up, but considering how delayed some of the big players are in meeting their own deadlines, I wouldn't be concerned if they take their time a bit.
Disclaimer, I know nothing about finance/money/investing.
