"Shake to change song" feature will make a whole lot of sense on Shuttle Music Player...

Components

Shuttle Music Player is an intuitive, lightweight and powerful open source music player for Android. Built in 6-band equalizer with bass boost, gapless playback, automatic artwork downloading with tons of theme options, including light & dark mode, sleep timer, extremely customizable widgets, last.fm Scrobbling.

Proposal

I propose that the developers of this app should add the shake to change song feature to the app. This feature will be of a great use to users who may not want to go through the stress of unlocking their devices, launching the app before being able to select or change queued songs. I hereby suggest it be added to the application to meet this need.

Mockups / Examples

The screenshots will show how to use this feature and where it will be located on Shuttle Music Player if implemented..

Benefits

The need for this feature is to ensure users do not have to unlock their respective devices just to change to a particular song. By just shaking the device, the problem is solved. This feature therefore is of benefit to all users as well as the brand itself as meeting users needs is a sure way to attract more or retain existing customers.
