In the hope to contribute to the opensource projects, I am using Utopian.io as a medium to request the features to search the curation and author rewards by date range. This is the very important feature which can make the curation and rewards viewing easier.
Current Rewards Interface:
The current curation rewards interface only has the ability to display the total curation rewards received within a week period.
And it has the ability to display the curation rewards history in chronological order.
Author Rewards Interface:
The current author rewards interface only has the ability to display the total author rewards received within a week period.
And it has the ability to display the author rewards history in chronological order.
Reason for the feature request:
The current interface is not capable to broadcast the rewards earned more than a week. This will cause difficulty in future when income earned has to be reported to the government or personal needs. Right now, users have to manually document the total rewards that have been earned. It would become easier and faster for the users if they were able to select the date range and get the results.
MY Proposal:
My proposal is to add the feature where users will be able to select the date range and get the total rewards earned in that period of time. It can help the users to look back and see what they have made in certain time period. This will help the users to make the plans or set the goals to more proactively work on their blogging.
Let me explain my proposal with the illustration below:
CURATION REWARDS INTERFACE :
This is curation rewards interface where there is an option to select the date range by clicking on the calendar icon.
Once a user clicks the calendar icon, a user should be prompt to select the date range for which user intends to view the curation rewards of and once selected, appropriate information should display the curation rewards like in the interface above once applied.
This is author rewards interface where there is an option to select the date range by clicking on the calendar icon.

I hope that this is one of the features that many us would agree onto. I believe that this feature would answer lots of our questions regarding the curation and author rewards. I hope that this feature or similar feature gets implemented in the Steemit rewards interface to help it's users to view the rewards.
