Rainy days are becoming more often. As Filipinos, we like to indulge on something hot that can warm us such as champorado, lugaw, or sopas. Our mothers also prepare viands with broth that we happily sip. My all-time favorite is Sinigang. What is yours?
Today, we finally had the chance to eat Ramen. My older cousin always spoke about this place where good ramen was served - not fancy, just right. I suddenly texted and invited them to have lomi but during our conversations, it was then decided that ramen would be the perfect choice for tonight.
It was located along the high way near SM Calamba. They had their service parked, and the tables and chairs surrounding the built-in, portable kitchenette. Since it was raining, it was a bit difficult to eat peacefully but the three of us managed. There stood two tents for customers. Many months before this very night, I would witness a line of people waiting for their turns to eat. The location wasn't a problem because people were actually coming to them (and I have seen posts about the shop), but the lack of tables and chairs was. I supposed they needed to accommodate more their growing customers.
I ordered Soy Ramen. I asked if it could have a spicy flavor and the waitress agreed. The food wasn't that bad. My cousings had Corn & Butter, and Spicy (idk the menu just says that). Aside from those mentioned, they also had Beef, Chicken, and Naruto, although I wasn't sure what kind of ramen it was. They also offered kimchi, barbeque, rice, and more. It was a really really fun experience.

I know, HUJI app makes every photo more beautiful. Hehe.
I would definitely recommend this Night Ramen to everyone in (or near) Calamba. Solo is worth P119 or P129, while large which is good for two people is P139 or P149. I finally understood why people patiently wait. It was because the food was good and satisfying regardless of wherever it was located. This was different ramen experience as compared to the ones I have had in Los Baños (give me time for this post).
I hope this post made you crave for ramen. Have nice day!
