#ulog No. 1: Be Thankful Everyday

It’s already past 11PM here in the Philippines but I’m still wide awake. I admit it, I have not read a lot of Steemit posts lately for I have enjoyed too much of my new environment and developed more (unhealthy) habits. For some reason today, I decided to check out Steemit again. I guess I’ve really missed a lot for today was my first encounter with @ulogs.

And here’s my attempt to make one.

From my work as a marketing assistant in Manila, I jumped off to a very far field. For two months now, I’m working as a legal assistant for a company just 20 minutes away from home.

Except for some Law units that I took in college, I really have NO BACKGROUND with law. Good thing that my boss, an attorney, still considered my application.

GOD is good

And I had a lot more to thank Him for today:

• I woke up, went to work and went home safe, and also all of my family members.
• My boss was back at the office, after a week off, and I had the chance to ask him all my queries. He even treated me coffee!
• I made more friends in the office, the guards, chefs and the utility workers.
• I had the best dinner, fried fish and sinigang, prepared by the best mom in the world.
• And finally, I had to urge to make this Ulog.

My PINK office stuff

While making this #ulog, I’ve realized that these past few months, I have ranted more than I have thanked. I was always seeking the bad, when the good was already all around me. I was blinded with envy, that there are times that I question, pity and blame myself for my misfortunes.

Today, I have decided to do my best and be thankful everyday. I will express my gratitude through daily @ulogs.
