 of the Lord all the days of my life, to 
 gaze on the beauty of the Lord and
 to seek him in his temple.

This is the idea where One Thing Philippines anchored their vision as an evangelic movement pursuing Christ. For me, this conference has made a vast impact in my life by becoming more mature and secure of my identity in Christ and to other people. That's why every year, I am always in anticipation and in high regard everytime the event starts to kick off on the month of May.

Our team, River of Life Symphony Orchestra had our 2nd year of participation in this much eager attended event. We were tasked to lead the opening day worship at 9:00 am and the Evening Worship at 6:30 pm. That's why a lot of preparations were required from us prior and during the event. Practicing and rehearsing the songs were our almost activity during this whole month of May. However, despite such super loaded schedules and activities we all went through, still the passion in us to serve and honor the Lord never die down rather it even escalated to higher level of service seeing young people's lives changed and empowered.

This year's theme...

It focuses on confronting the issues of millenials today like pornography, social media addiction, depression, homosexuality, pre-marital sex and among others. We believe that only through God can these struggles of youth be overcome and resolved. Not by our own strength nor effort but only by God's power and grace alone. On the other note, we also firmly believe that if these things will not be solved on the early stages of their lives then surely this will cause a destructive effect on their personal lives and eventually affect on the national level as one nation. Therefore, this event is always on full blow just to direct the future generation to the promise of abundance and victory set by God unto us.

Now let me unveil to you a glimpse of our activities on this One Thing Philippines Conference:

I and my team setting up the equipments, instruments and microphones needed in preparation for the sound check of each players. We have to do it a little quicker since we're only given a few minutes to have the full orchestral set-up.

Bass players such as Cello and double bass already set-up for the sound check.

Woodwind players such as concert flute, piccollo and clarinet tries to check their sound with this condenser microphone.

Everybody is now already set-up and now ready for this sound check. Im truly impressed because the soundman is good in orchestrating the sounds on the blending of these instruments.

Then after the whole set-up, the event now officially begin. This is still a glimpse of activities during the entire event. You'll see young people worship and cry out to God in affection and intimacy.

Beth, the lady in red listen affectionately the voice of these hurt young people. She cant help but be moved as they narrate their stories of struggle of a broken family relationship.

And as we end our day here in this conference, we see life of young people changed and life's perspective renewed. We really felt the peace indwelling in them now as they release chains and bondages in their lives. And above all they discover and understand now the beauty and their identity in Christ which gave them the motivation and resilience to life. And as we end this life changing- day, we all sang a song thanking and honoring Jesus which sounds resound to the entire mall.
