#ULOG 21: THE BEAUTY OF AN ART WORK

To My Lovely Readers...

It has been days since I haven't written and posted my #ulog series so hey guys I am back! I did so many tasks on weekdays so schedule for me was tight and been busy. Sharing you something that we did in our class after the tests of the students were finished. We were able to have this hand painting activity.

HAND PAINTING ACTIVITY

We prepared the materials for the students since it would be a colorful and messy activity which includes paint (different colors of paint like green, yellow, blue, red, and orange, pencils (using the bottom of the pencil to pat some paint on the paper), and paper. Those were the materials we used in the activity.

This is a messy art activity, finger painting or hand painting activity but it is sure that children will enjoy and so many sensory experiences going on during this time.

We asked them to draw their hands on the paper, traced it using a pencil and let them paint their drawings. Mixing the yellow, red and blue colors turned into brown color and we used it to paint the hand on the paper. As they finished painting the hand, teachers asked them to dab the eraser on the pencil with colors on the paper, different colors for them to have the colorful activity and seeing like almost a splash of art while dabbing some colors on it.

Having this activity has some benefits for our students and can help them. The tactile experince (touching some paint colors), stimulates the students' senses. It allows them to use their imagination and create something and can help the fine motor skills. We always do some fun activity even if it is a bit messy but fun activities for them to feel that there are lots of things to do in order for them to be happy, to feel good doing some interesting things.

So this was our activity we had, students had some fun and teachers too by guiding them until they were finished. I am excited to share some activities that we are going to do here.

Thank you for reading my #ulog post. :)

Yours Truly,
