Sakinah comes from the Arabic language which means peace, tranquility, peace or peace. The opposite of tranquility or serenity is shakiness, anxiety, destruction. As the meaning of the word, the family sakinah means family in which contains peace, tranquility, security, and peace between members of his family. A sakinah family is opposed to a family of unrest, suspicion, and destruction.
We can see families that are not sakinah example is a family in which full of fights, suspicions between spouses, even the potential for a conflict that led to divorce. Unbelief is one aspect that makes the sakinah family fail. For example, couples suspect each other, the existence of parties or people who shook the household or the wife against the husband's resistance. The law against husbands according to Islam must be something that must be known also by the wife to maintain sakinah in the family.
With the calmness, tranquility, sense of security, peace then shakiness in the family will not happen. Each family member can think through the problem solving clearly and touch the point. Without calm then it is difficult for each to think clearly, and willing to deliberate, that there is a debate, and a fight that is not able to solve the problem. Conflict in the family will easily occur without any sakinah in the family.
