It's been weeks since the last time I posted here on Steemit, I've been busy in a lot of things for the past weeks and also experienced a lot of struggle that I can't make an Ulog post. Discouraged yet I need to keep on moving forward and look on what's AHEAD of me.
The Bible tells us that there is "wonderful joy" on what's ahead of us, especially those who are followers of Christ;
1 Peter 1:6
So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you must endure many trials for a little while.
What's Ahead? (1 Peter 1:6-7, 13-19)
We Christians are excited to that day when Jesus will comeback and bring us into a place He prepared for us. There will be "wonderful joy" on that day when we will see Jesus face to face. These things AHEAD should inspire us to keep on moving forward from our "Now" where we face different battles everyday. What's ahead should inspire us to...
- Endure Trials that we are experiencing and we will experience (v. 6-7)
- Keep the Faith (v. 7)
- Keep on Preparing (v. 13)
- Exercise Self-Control (v.13)
- Keep on Obeying God's Commands (v.14)
- Remain Faithful to God (v.14)
- Remain Holy (v. 15-16)
- Fear God (v. 17)
PRAYER
Heavenly Father, thank You for giving me something to look forward, and that is the day when Your Son Jesus Christ will comeback and bring us to place He prepared for us. Help me to keep on moving forward towards the path that You've set before me, to Endure trials that will come my way, to Keep the Faith, to Keep on Preparing, to Exercise self-control, to Keep on obeying your words, to remain holy and faithful to You and to Fear You. In Jesus Christ name, amen!
