In my previous post, I shared a Filipino dish recipe called halang-halang. It is a simple soup-based dish which has hot and spicy flavor.
Now in this post, let me share with you another Filipino dish known to almost all the Filipinos throughout the country. The dish called Adobo.
From what I’ve known, the term adobo comes from the Spanish word adobar which means to marinate with soy suace and vinegar.
And with the Filipinos creativity towards food, various versions of adobo has been developed throughout the country.
With this version I used lechon manok and then marinated it with vinegar, calamansi juice and a little sugar and soy sauce.
I then cooked it for 10-15 minutes and then added sliced onions and garlic. We Filipinos loved to partner it with rice.
