Hello everyone on steemit.
Travelling and photography both are my hobby.
So just a few days ago I've visited The Lalbagh Fort. The Fort is famous in the whole country for its beauty and obviously the structure of the whole area. Everyday thousands of people visit here. It is also a great place for the foreigners. 35% 0f the visitors are from other country.
At 1678 PRINCE AZAM who was the son of THE MUGHAL EMPEROR AURANGZEB started the construction work of The Lalbagh Fort. But at 1684 at the time of Subadar Shaista Khan the work was kept unfinished and the palace becomes abandoned.
PARTS THE PALACE HAVE
☞1➤ A Two Storeyed Elegant Audience Hall-Cum-Hammam.
☞2➤ A Tomb. The tomb of Pari Bibi.
☞3➤ A Three Domed Mosque and a Tank.
☞4➤ Three Imposing Gateways at Different Points of its Surviving Defence Wall.
☞5➤ Also the Walls at the South and West Direction are provided with Facetted Bastions.
Another Beauty of the Fort is The Tomb of Pari Bibi.
The Tomb is one of the antique and old monuments of Bangladesh. It is 20.2 meter square at shape. The constitution of The Tomb was completed before 1668. In Bangladesh this is the only one monument where Marble Stones, Black Basal and Glazed Tiles have been use to decorate and increase the beauty of the nine chambers of The Tomb.
It was really great for me to visit the place. By visiting historical places we can know about the history, culture and the tradition of our country.
I've also captured some photos of the Kella. Here are they. ☞↓
