So we bought a bunch of colourful balloons to make the Hsinbyume Pagoda (Mandalay, Myanmar) pictures more alive and somewhat original. 🎈
You should see the looks we got when we were blowing up the balloons and tying them together with shoelaces from Kris’s shoes (cuz no one thought of getting a thread🤔) and pretending the balloons are filled with helium.
Oke, oke, but the nicest part at the end was giving the balloons away to the local souvenir seller ladies who gave them to their children! Actually, a pretty interesting view for the tourists seeing all the local kids running around with red balloons. And you know, just making them all smile, the souvenir ladies, the children, the tourists, just because of our random photo idea... priceless! 🎈
In Myanmar people are so open and curious about tourists! So many locals walking up to you to inquire where do you come from, take pictures and tell you about the most beautiful places to see in Myanmar. And the kids, the kids... every single warm-hearted “Hello!” ... it never gets old!❤️
Love you all!
