So I was finally able to take a trip with all four kids. Lulu is 5, and I've wanted to do this for a long time. Reuben will be 21 in just a few short weeks. Sophie is probably graduating next year. So, I just know life is only gonna get busier for them. I knew I needed to do it now if it was gonna be just the five of us.
the beginning of the journey
I really wanted to go to Spain and the UK, but the IRS won't give me my refund. Not sure how I offended them, but apparently I did. Anyway, without that cash, we had to stay closer to home.

I found out about these amazing relocation deals you can get from RV companies. Basically you agree to move the RV from one location to another, and they give you the RV for super cheap.
So I found this fantastic one from Montreal to Toronto. They gave us 6 nights and 2400 kilometers for $12 a night. It was a super deal. I'll cover the rest of the trip in another post, but Quebec City deserves its own post. Have you been? One of the most beautiful cities I've ever been in. Freaking cold for a Caribbean girl, but really, really beautiful.
provincial capital
Ok, maybe this isn't radical for Canada, but there was a garden in the lawn in front of the capital. As someone originally from the US, currently in Belize, this blew my mind. Like, a vegetable garden. I was floored.

Ok, that's the Quebec City part of our trip. I'd really like to have more time there, maybe a day when it's sunny? And more time in the old churches. I went in one, but they had just started a mass, so I didn't take pictures. This night we stayed in a campground straight out of Trailer Park Boys, and it was fabulous. The next day we headed towards Toronto to get closer to Niagara. I'll post those pictures soon.
