This photo was taken during my travel last month in Panglao, Bohol. It is known to be one of the Philippines' enchanting beauty. Especially in the morning, hundreds of foreigners from throughout the globe, take the opportunity of witnessing its mesmerizing beauty. So much more when the sunset and sunrise take place.
Some of us if not most of us are really too old to be falling out with friends, fighting, airing dirty laundry on social media, etc. Growing apart from people is one thing, but there's no growth in falling out over messy, petty, ignorant dramas and arguments.
We talk about this new generation and how lost our youth has become, but guess where they get it from? The 'adults' they idolize and emulate. We are the tone setters for the future. Maybe it isn't looking so bright because we're still caught up in our own darkness.
Don't mind me, I'm just voicing an opinion. It holds no bearing and isn't directed at anyone in particular. Just grievous to see the adults acting like children, expecting the children to act like adults. And it will always be grievous to see us take more pride in the division than unity.
Be the salt and light. Set a good example before their very eyes by showing them how you live out your faith and see Christ in you.
