Invercargill Cenotaph, New Zealand

Today's weather has been nothing short of awesome! Decided to take my nephew out for a quick check up at the doctor's. Next to the clinic, there is beautiful war memorial park called "Invercargill Cenotaph" and the main attraction was a monument to pay tribute to the New Zealand army who lost their lives during the war period: 1948-1972.

Interesting enough, Malaya and Borneo was engraved to the monument as well alongside with South Vietnam and Korea. Plus, plenty of names of their beloved fallen heroes. It has benches around it and its just nice to sit back and watch from a distance. Mind you, it is a tall monument. If you got time to spare, you can most definitely read all their names on the wall. That's it from me today. #LestWeForget

If you wish to visit this nice location, it is located at: 194 Dee St, Avenal, Invercargill.
